Excellent food and the service is top notch.

I'm on vacation from Las Vegas, Nevada, and I want to say how much better Mexico is compared to the United States. Everyone in Hermosillo has been really nice to me. It's a great city, with its warm weather, happy music, and excellent food. This restaurant, El Charco, is another example of why Mexico is the best country in the world. The host staff here, instantly greeted me, and gave me a table outside- where cigarette smoking is allowed. I ordered a beer, and maybe 30 seconds later, I got my beer, tortilla chips, salsa and the menu! This was in 30 seconds! I've been to restaurants in Las Vegas, I sat down, and waited. Nothing. No bread. No menu, no waiters. After 10 minutes we just walked out. Now, back to El Charco. I was in no hurry. I wanted to drink my beer, smoke a cigarette, and think about how lucky I am to be in Mexico! Its raining, cold and miserable right now in California and Nevada, but last night around 6pm while I had dinner outside, it was 80 degrees fahrenheit. Just perfect. No mosquitoes, no flies. The waitress was the best. I then ordered their garlic shrimp, and another beer. The shrimp plate arrived quickly, and had big shrimp, a salad, rice, beautiful sliced avocadoes, and a basket of hot tortillas- all for 220 pesos, or, around 10 dollars USD! I was in no hurry, and made shrimp tacos using the rice and avocado slices. They also have various bottles of hot sauce on the table. I put on my tacos the habanero hot sauce to create the ultimate Mexican garlic shrimp tacos! My God, life doesn't get better than this. I thought about all the people who don't have enough money to experience a dinner like this, and I understood how fortunate I am. I hope in the future there will be no poverty. I hope everyone will be able to live their lives without fear, have money, and be able to enjoy their lives to the fullest of all possibilities. I rate this restaurant, El Charco a perfect 10. I will return soon and order their their famous shrimp cocktail- drink more beer, and give the highest praise to their hosts, waiters, waitresses, and talented chefs!

Went to visit my cousin had a great time and the food was delicious

Food was great..parking lot is not Harley Davidson friendly..(gravel). Staff was very efficient including the parking lot attendant.. Will definitely return..

Great food and service but noisy "for us", maybe great for others. It is a fun restaurant colorful and friendly atmosphere.

Very casual place, inside/outside area, busy Food is really fresh tasty and the variety is impressive. Nothing too fancy. Toritos awesome! Octopus tostada supreme! The chips and salsa delicious! Soda Lemonade.... A classic in Mexico couldn’t fail! That is what i ordered. Son and husband had the seafood soup (alert!!! ....shrimp has the head), seafood cocktail and shrimp ceviche.

My friend left something. The waiter kept it. However, the food and drinks were great.

Best mariscos in Hermosillo must try they don't over charge you or add items you didn't order.
